More than a thousand years of building has left architectural gems in Prague which millions of visitors come to admire every year. Uncover the mystery of the Gothic monasteries, enjoy classical music concerts in one of the Baroque cathedrals or relax in the beautiful Renaissance gardens. Prague will soon convince you why people have been saying that it is one of the most beautiful historical cities in the world since as far back as the Middle Ages.
Put a Prague mosaic together
Its silhouette is monumental. Prague Castle, the symbol of the Czech lands, seat of ancient rulers and according to the Guinness Book of Records, the largest medieval castle in the world. This is a place that you must not fail to visit when you visit Prague, city of a hundred spires. You can end your tour in one of the beautiful Palace Gardens, where you will all of a sudden find yourself in a wonderful world of plants, fountains and pavilions. You can also spend a pleasant day on PetÅ™ín, where the local lookout tower offers a beautiful view over the many towers, roofs and chimneys of the whole city. Don’t forget to take a look at the statue of the world famous Child of Prague at the foot of PetÅ™ín Hill, which is attributed miraculous properties. You will find it a little way from here in the Church of Our Lady Victorious in the Lesser Quarter.
A walk through the history of architecture
Would you like to get to know the beating heart of Prague? Then set out for the Old Town Square, which is one of the most beautiful in the world. Not far from here, you can then make your way into the heart of the fascinating Jewish Ghetto shrouded in legend. Is there an old romantic hiding away inside you? You can believe that there is no more romantic place than Charles Bridge at sunrise. On the other hand, sunset is at its most beautiful viewed from the ramparts of mythical Vyšehrad, a place where you can immerse yourself in the very beginnings of Czech nationhood.
A city which beats with life
Prague is not only a city of historical monuments, but also a city for living, where culture is an integral part of things. Enjoy a unique experience in the form of a classical music concert in the Municipal House, one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in the world. You can set out on the trail of Mozart to the Estates Theatre, where this musical genius presented the premiere of his opera Don Giovanni in person.
PRAGUE RESTAURANTS
Czech:
La Degustation Boheme Bourgeoise - my favourite in Prague. It's probably the best (and also the most expensive) restaurant here. Choose one of 2 degustation menu (each one consists of 7 courses and 7 amuse-bouche), you will also get a wine that goes together with the course. Get ready for the gastronomic experience of your life!
U Fleku - old traditional Czech restaurant. It has been founded in 1499! Don't expect faboulous food, it's just ok...but they have very good beer.
It's not a cozy place (but no Czech restaurant is) but I always had a good time here.
Greek:
Kri-Kri - nice taverna, very nice food. Service is slow (I mean VERY slow) - ...so be ready for that..:-)
Delphi - it's far from the city centre but I never regret going there.
Italian: Kogo - not as good as it used to be, but still one of the best Italian restaurant in the city. Very cozy place, fresh sea food, nice wines, try the Bruschetta con prosciutto e funghi, that's my favourite dish. There are more Kogo restaurants in Prague, go to the one in Havelska street which I think is the best of all.
Ambiente - you can't go wrong with any restaurant from this group. They have 3 Italian, 1 Czech, 2 Brazilian...and they are all amazing...

Khajuraho - another Indian restaurant that I really like. The staff is friendly and make you to feel very welcome.
Steak restaurants
Steak restaurants Cowboys- I love steaks and I love this resturant. So much for now..:-)
El Barrio de Angel - this is not primarily a steak restaurant but I go there for steaks only..:-) Very nice place in a basement, live latino american music and wonderful steaks - what more could you want?
Well, the staff is sometimes too slow and not very friendly.
PRAGUE HOTEL :
5star hotels:
Buddha Bar Hotel - this hotel is like a heaven for me. It's small, quite, very cozy - decorated in black, red and golden colour with not much light. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Their restaurant is also outstanding. This is definitely my no.1 choice in Prague!
Kempinski Hotel - this is one of the most beautiful hotels in Prague. It has very big and luxuriously furnished rooms. Try also their restaurant Le Grill, you will not regret it.
Intercontinental - nice hotel in a good area. It's nothing special - the rooms, staff, services...are just like at other hotels of this category. But it's comfortable, clean and at a good location.
Hilton - there are 2 Hilton hotels in Prague, I prefer this one. I think it is at a better location and has slightly better rooms. The other one has a nice lobby hall.
President Hotel - it is just next to the Intercontinental..and almost the same.
Imperial Hotel - I like its art deco style..but if it's not your taste, you'd rather choose another hotel.
Sheraton - a bit outside of the city centre but still in a reasonable distance. It was built a few months ago and I think they did good job. I love their SPA.
Mandarin oriental - Spacious hotel suites combining Bohemian charm with Asian chic are equipped with state-of-art audio-visual equipment and flat TV screens.
The luxurious Boscolo Hotel Carlo IV -Art and architecture. The most unique luxury and comfort flows through from the rooms to the restaurant
4star hotels:
Andels hotel - located in my favourite Prague district - Andel. It's not in the city centre but there are many things to do - nice restaurants, bars, shops..and you are in the centre within a few minutes.
K+K Fenix - just next to the busy Wenceslas square - ideal for those of you who want to do lots of sightseeing and to be close to city centre.
